I liked his early productions but I haven’t followed his work for a while now because it just seemed like he was trying to release as many tracks as possible, most of which were very much forgetable.

I’m not much of a fan, but Michael Woods’ Remix of “I Said” by Deadmau5 and Chris Lake is Pete Tong’s first Essential Tune of 2010. Played on his Radio 1 show and Deadmau5 started his NYE’s set off with the track.

The Original Mix is far from anything special, the main melody being the only bit worth listening to (in my opinion), but Michael Woods adds a whole new dimension to the track, which is what it needed. It’s a massive peak time Electro House BOMB! Yet to be released but listen to it below:
