This week’s favourite tune is Ping Pong by Arnej. The Canadian producer releases a slamming, uplifting trance track with an electro-ish bassline, check it out: Another good track by Arnej lately is Arnej vs. 8 Wonders – The Crossover.
Another classic Trance track to enjoy. A timeless classic by English producer Steve Helstrip. Synaesthesia was released in 1998 when Trance was growing and growing and becoming hugely popular amongst the Electronic Dance scene. It was remixed by well-known Dutch DJ Ferry Corsten which is the version we all know and love. A true Trance classic.
I can’t remember the last time a Trance track was my favourite of the week, with my monthly house gigs I haven’t really followed trance releases lately but it was great to see a new release from Greg Downey. The Irishman has produced some superb stuff over recent years, such as “Vivid Intent”, “Once Again” and “Stadium”.
I’ve been downloading a few more tracks lately (quite a few Electro) ready for my next gig on December 19th and I’ve added some of them to my Top 10 tracks chart. All but 2 tracks are new, staying are Duck Sauce – Anyway and Paulo Mojo – Lauda.
This week’s favourite tune is Alex Kidd – Unholy Grail, closely followed by Benni Benassi’s remix of Red Hot Chili Peppers My Otherside and Be:Gold’s Sun Stroke trance track.
“This Is House” is my monthly night at the Loft Sports Bar in Swansea, playing the best and latest in Funky, Progressive and Electro House.
After a successful trial night earlier this month, I’m back on Saturday 19th December 2009 from 9pm until 2am where I like to play a variety of funky vocal house, commercial, progressive, electro and trance.
Veracoche, the alias of top Dutch Trance producers Vincent De Moor and Ferry Corsten produced this timeless classic in arguable the best era of the Trance genre – the late 90′s.
“Carte Blanche” reached number 22 in the UK singles charts and it’s synthetic melody, plus the added piano notes together with that uplifting beat make it an unforgetable trance track.
Gouryella, the alias of Dutch duo Ferry Corsten and Tiesto who produced this timeless classic in 1999 – an epic era for trance music.
The single Gouryella reached No.15 in the UK charts, thanks to it’s uplifting synths and unique melody “Gouryella” is regarded a true Timeless trance Classic.
Tiesto left the Gouryella project in 2000 as he wanted to concentrate on his solo productions, while Ferry Corsten produced “Ligaya” with British producer John Ewbank in 2001.
After two months since my last uploaded mix, I thought it was finally time I recorded another for your listening pleasure (hopefully!)
A 70-minute mix of some of my favourite recent trance releases. I have to say, it’s a bit off in places which I’m disappointed with, I’ll have to do another, improve one soon, but anyway, have a listen and let me know what you think.

Tiesto is releasing a new album in October (20th) and one of the tracks on it features Scottish Artist/DJ Calvin Harris with “Century”.
I haven’t been too impressed with some of Tiesto’s new tunes but this one has got that commercial Calvin Harris sound which I’m sure will help it be a club floorfiller soon. I can’t find any previews of it anywhere to include it in the blog, but I’ll most likely be playing it on Sunday when I play a DJ set at the Loft, Swansea.
