Tune of the Week – d-t3ch – Unseen Things [Remix]
This week’s favourite track is Sonny Fodera’s remix of D-t3ch – Unseen Things released in October.
Quite a chill-out feel, a track to play early on in a set but it’s funky sound and looped up vocal sample still make it popular on the dancefloor.

A 70-minute mix-set full of Peak-Time Electro House bangers from big names including Sidney Samson, Michael Woods, Feed Me, Afrojack, Steve Angello and even a bit of Dr Dre and Snoop Dogg! I’ve recorded 2 different versions of the same mix-set. The first has a lot of edits and effects throughout and I wasn’t sure

This week’s favourite House track is from Richard Dinsdale’s Glitter Fever EP. Both tracks are excellent, released on Toolroom Records. DJ, Youve Got My Love is more funkier whereas the other track on the EP ‘One Step’ has a deeper, repetitive bassline.

More edits coming soon, including This Is Miami (Sander Kleinenberg) “This is Swansea” version. I’m now on SoundCloud,

Scratch effect on Traktor Pro
about 1 year ago - No comments
During a session of trying out the effects on Traktor Pro and which of them go well together, here’s a cool feature I came across this week. Using the gater and Peak filter effect together, create a ‘scratch’ effect which you can manipulate using the two effects simultaneously. I recorded this using a mouse with
Samples – Boney-M – Gotta Go Home

Boney-M, famous in the 70′s Disco era for big hits such as Brown Girl In The Ring, Daddy Cool, Sunny, Rasputin and Gotta Go Home – which is where “Duck Sauce” got their inspiration from to produce “Barbara Strisand”. The intro of Boney-M’s hit is almost identical to Armand van Helden and A-trak’s brand new
